Heaven gained a handsome, bright-eyed angel on October 23, 2018 when Samuel Aaron Baker passed away peacefully in his sleep at home at the age of 23. If only we could see you now, walking the streets of gold. We would see that huge smile that melts our hearts and hear that joyful voice letting us know your love is near. Behind Aaron's beautiful smile was such a beautiful heart, full of love. Although Aaron's life included many physical and medical challenges, his light always shined brightly. He had a gift of sharing his light with anyone who was open and willing to enjoy life with him. Those who knew him will be forever blessed. We thank him for watching Cubs and Panthers games with his mom. We thank him for reading the newspaper and creating stories and works of art with his teachers. We thank him for enduring episodes of Dancing with the Stars and American Idol with family and friends. We thank him for having the sweetest spirit. We thank him for his life lessons of love, endurance, and acceptance. His legacy is love. This legacy will live on with the countless people whose lives are forever changed because of him. We miss you so very much, sweet Aaron Baker. We know you are with God now... fully healed, talking, running, laughing ,singing, and shining your sweet and precious spirit in heaven forever. If only we could see you now, walking the streets of gold. Stand tall and whole, sweet Aaron. Enjoy sitting at His feet. Aaron is survived by his devoted mom, Tina Baker; his father, Sam Baker; his half-brother, Cameron Baker; his grandmothers, Mitsue Listak and Jean Baker; his uncles and aunts, Charlie and Gracie Listak, Kimie Listak, Scott and Emily Allen; and his cousins, Brit Listak, Scott Listak, Chris Listak, Aiden Listak, Bobby Ard, Baker Allen, and Johnny Allen.
