Alexis Villegas

Alexis Villegas - Velez, 38, born April 12th, 1982, passed away unexpectedly on November 1st, 2020, in Charlotte, NC. Born in Hartford, CT and raised in Puerto Rico. Alex came back to the States as a young man. He was a son, brother, friend, father, husband and grandfather. Alex was a Jack-of-all-trades, a hustler by nature and lived life to the fullest. He had a big heart and would help anybody, even a stranger. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 10 years, Amber. His children, Yarialis and Alexander of Buffalo, NY. Kalvin Duncan of Springfield, MA and Autumn, Silas and Alexis Jr. of Charlotte, NC; and one grandchild, Leylani R. Basemore; his mother and father, Maria Del Carmen Velez and Carmelo Malave - Berrios of Puerto Rico, Sister, Carmen Lydia Cruz Velez ((YAYITA)) of Puerto Rico; Brother Keneth Malave and his wife Adalizabeth of Tallahassee, FL. He also left behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, and nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly.
