Andy Damery

Andrew Rodney Damery was born in Decatur, Illinois to Rod and Beth Damery on May 11, 1985. He has two brothers, Zachary Mathias Damery and Logan Alexander Damery both of Charlotte, NC. Grandparents preceding him in death are Carroll Damery of Blue Mound, Il; Norman Mathias of Decatur, Il; Mary Mathias Corley of Shelbyville, Il and Step grandfather, Jim Reiss of Ramsey, Il; surviving grandmother, Valeria Reiss of Decatur, Il. Andy graduated from Sun Valley High School in 2003, and in 2007, he graduated from NTI with a degree in Auto Mechanics. He then continued his education in Chicago receiving a certification specializing in Mercedes Benz. He was employed by Hendrick Automotive Group Mercedes in Charlotte, NC. Andy has been a drummer in many bands over the years. In 2000, Andy was in his first band in Illinois called North Star; in 2002, Carry The Cross; in 2012, High Gravity and in 2013, Last Of All. In 2009, he married the love of his life, Cassie Cross. On July 25, 2011, Andy and Cassie had their baby girl, Payton Elizabeth. Besides music, Andy had a love for Dodge Dakota RTs and MOPAR American Muscle Cars. His undying and undeniable faithfulness to his Chicago Cubbies, Da Bears and The Blackhawks were obvious to everyone around him! Andy never met a stranger, had a beautiful heart to reach out to people in need and loved his family and friends with all his heart.
