Ann Grimaldi Long

Ann Grimaldi Long, 59, of Mint Hill, NC passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. She passed peacefully at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Ann was born April 1, 1958, in Miami, FL to the late Frances McArthur Grimaldi and late John Andrew Grimaldi. She worked for a company that offered physical therapy services to special needs children in the Miami-Dade area for five years prior to her moving to Charlotte. In addition, she worked for Carolinas Medical Center for over 20 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Ann was a giving, loving person that always put others first. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family in the Florida Keys. Survivors are her sons, Jason Robert Bolender of York, SC, and Eric Matthew Bolender of Charlotte. She was the loving grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren, Ally Morales, Colby Bolender, Bailey Bolender, Bishop Bolender, Lincoln Bolender, and Cassidy Bolender. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 9, 2018, by Pastor Dave McGurit at Southside Charlotte Church, 301 Elmhurst Road, Charlotte, NC 28209. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
