KANNAPOLIS, NC - Mr. Arnold Robert Fuller Jr., 69, went to his home in Heaven on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church, 1600 Mallard Creek Church Road, Charlotte, NC where he was a long time member. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m until 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Fuller was born July 28,1952 in Charlotte, NC and was the son of the late Arnold Robert and Estelle Camp Fuller. He attended Garringer High School and had owned and operated Lester Thomas Paving since 1985. He had a passion for classic cars and hot rods. He was an avid car collector and enjoyed restoring them. His love for racing was a huge part of his life. Mr. Fuller was the team owner of Mach2 Motorsports and was very proud of the legacy they built in the dirt track community. He was a very generous man who was loved and adored by many and had a heart of gold. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone at a moment's notice. He will be truly missed by his family, friends and the community.
Mr. Fuller is survived by his daughter, Shelly Rightsell; three grandchildren, Katie Caraway, Payton Caraway, Jacob Rightsell; a great grandchild, Noah Caraway and his sister, Linda Griffin.
The family asks that memorials be made to The Special Olympics in honor of Jacob Rightsell.
