Betty Jo Rowell Miller, 78, of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday evening, October 8, 2012. Born in Union County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Rowell and Iva Leona Baker Rowell. Her immediate family includes her children, Kimberly (Kim) D. Brown, and her husband, Tom, Roger McWhorter, and his wife, Donna, and Greg McWhorter; her sister, Diane Helms; her brother, Leonard Rowell; and her three grandchildren, Brenda, Matthew, and Samuel McWhorter. -
