Brandon Charles Baldwin

Brandon Charles Baldwin, 20, of Charlotte, NC, got his wings and joined his Heavenly Father on March 26th, with family by his side. Brandon’s smile, laughter, sense of humor, wit, charm and giant heart will never be forgotten. His strength, bravery and optimistic attitude during his battle with cancer inspired so many. Brandon was born on August 8, 2000 and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School. He was attending Central Piedmont Community College, with plans of transferring to Eastern Carolina University.  Brandon played football and rugby during his middle and high school years, spending several seasons with his beloved coaches and teammates from CJRA and the Tigers. Brandon is survived by his mom, Sarah Pickett Baldwin and Mark Rupp; older brother, Ryan Baldwin, 21; his dad, Michael Baldwin; stepmom, Stephanie Brown; grandparents, Graham and Brenda Pickett, Susie and Jim Moore, Vicki and Mike Stevens and Tim and Sharon Baldwin. Brandon was fortunate to have been loved and claimed as a grandson by Chum and Luann Geissinger and Donna and Bill Brown. Brandon is also survived by uncle and aunt, Jon and Jamie Pickett and cousins Madeline and Miranda Pickett.
