Brenda Kay Elkins

Brenda Kay Elkins, 60, of Mint Hill, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday afternoon, December 12, 2010. She was born in Valdese, North Carolina and moved to Charlotte following her graduation from Valdese High School. Beautiful flowers, playing bingo, going to church, computers, and her dog, Peanut, were things that enriched her life. A kind, considerate, caring, and patient person were just a few of the attributes that made everyone who knew her love and appreciate this very special lady. Her immediate family includes her mother, Emily (Sue) Schwarz, of Charlotte; her sisters, Jeanette Bradshaw of Mint Hill, and Katherine (Kathie) Lefler and her husband, Melvin, of Raleigh; her nephew,Chad Lefler, and her niece, Jeanelle Lefler; and many cousins, including Bill and Roger Bradshaw.
