Brett Morgan was first and foremost, a man who loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and sought to serve him with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. He loved all God's people; but, most deeply, he loved his family. Brett was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Westfield High School in Houston, Texas, where he was an all around athlete, playing baseball (catcher), basketball, football and hockey. He graduated from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas in l987 with a BA in Business Administration and Finance. He remained an avid, some might say "rabid," Red Raider fan. Brett was a Director at Wells Fargo, a member of the corporation's Commercial Mortgage Servicing team. He enjoyed working with fellow employees, mentoring and helping them advance both personally and professionally. Brett served his community faithfully through his involvement with the 24 Hours of Booty (charity cycling fund-raising organization), Habitat for Humanity, Friendship Trays, Wells Fargo Championship, and the Raptor Center. He loved his dogs, photography, and cooking. His shortbread, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin cookies, as well as his white chocolate popcorn, were among everyone's favorites. As an active member of the Green Bible Study Community, he served as leader of the Men's Tuesday Night Bible Study. He and Cathy also served on Carmel's MarriedLife Team.
