Carol Ann Garcia

Carol Ann Garcia, age 93, passed away on October 9, 2018 in Waxhaw, North Carolina. She was born in Paso Robles, California on January 8, 1925. Carol was a person of great faith who loved her husband and huge family with all of her heart. She was an encourager and great supporter of us all. We are going to miss her greatly but are comforted in the fact that she is now free of suffering and reunited with her loved ones. She was such an amazing person who loved all of us so much and appreciated life more than anybody else we have ever known. She will be remembered as one friend said, "probably the last of the ladies I think of as truly elegant". Mrs. Garcia is survived by daughter, Judy Reid and husband Richard, of Waxhaw, NC; and son, Rick Garcia and wife Katherine, of Naples, FL; daughter-in-law, Carol Garcia, of Crested Butte, CO; five granddaughters, Shelley White and husband Barry, Christy Sunter and husband Jay, Jennifer Kruse and husband David, Michelle Davidson and husband King, and Annie Garcia; seven grandsons, Randy Garcia and wife Erin, Joe Garcia and wife Tricia, Richard Reid Jr. and wife Ruthe, Robert Reid and wife Tiffani, Luke Garcia and wife Anne, Jonathan Reid and wife Wendy, and Rick D Garcia; thirty-five great-grandchildren, Jessika Shieferly and husband Scott, Jarod White, Maddison Garcia, Savannah Garcia, Jacob Sunter, Alexandra Sunter, Henry Sunter, Taylor Rose Watts and husband Ben, Gabriella Garcia, Gary Garcia, Gus Garcia, Anthony Reid, Caleb Reid, Seth Reid, Julianna Reid, Micah Reid, Nathaniel Kruse, Jackson Kruse, Isaak Kruse, Hudson Kruse, Gabriel Kruse, Olivia Kruse, Elijah Reid, Jordan Reid, Judah Reid, Jadon Reid, Carleigh Reid, Claire Reid, Maria Espinoza, Cooper Garcia, Cruz Garcia, Croix Garcia, Caitlin Davidson, Kingsley Davidson, Grace Davidson, and one on the way; and two great-great-grandchildren, Dakota Shieferly and Hunter Shieferly. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband Tony Anthony Garcia and sons, Gary Garcia and Randy Garcia. The family will have a private graveyard service and a memorial in the Spring. We are grateful for all of your condolences and sweet memories. -
