Cathleen "Cathey" Hopper

Cathleen Brown "Cathey" Hopper, 58, of Charlotte, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,Thursday, April 11, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Hopper, who entered Heaven May 21, 2009. Cathey truly loved the Lord. She was a proud member of Central Church of God,and before her health failed, she was a faithful member, as was her husband, James, of the Central Sanctuary Choir. Her immediate family includes her children, Sarah Procope and her husband, Andre, of Bowie, Maryland, Angelicia Matthews, and Gabriel Bendter; her brother, Eric Brown; two sisters, Joyce Robinson, and Debora Brooks; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. * In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you consider one, or both, of the listings from the column to the left of the obituary designated "Place A Donation". -
