Christopher Daniel "Chris" Foley

Christopher Daniel Foley "Chris", 45 years old, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2011 at 1:15 a.m. due to complications associated with diabetes. He is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Noelle Foley of Stanley, NC, his stepson Joe Arrowood of Greeneville, SC, his mother and father, Martha Jane and Perry M. Foley of Rock Hill, SC, his sister, Cynthia Foley Barton of Fort Mill, SC, his brother, Justin M. Foley of Rock Hill, SC, his grandmother Irene Keeling of Colorado Springs, CO, his grandmother, Verna Delle Baber of Sallisaw, OK, and his step-siblings Clifford Baber, Jeani Baber and DeAnn Baber Armstrong of Sallisaw, OK, and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives. Chris was born in Colorado Springs, CO on July 14, 1965, and lived there with his family until they moved to the Charlotte, NC area in February 1980. He resided in that area until his death. He was raised in a Pentecostal home and was brought up in that faith. He was a member of Cornelius Church of God at the time of his death. Chris held numerous jobs until he became an auto glass installer, an occupation he thoroughly enjoyed. He worked side by side with his good friend, Chris Odermatt until he became disabled in 1999. He loved playing the drums and played them often for his church in Cornelius. Chris also enjoyed collecting knives, guns and putting model car kits together. He was married for 22 years to Mindy Foley of Stanley, NC and together they had one child, Chelsea Noelle, who brought him much happiness. Chelsea was his pride and joy. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made in Chris' name to LifeBuilders Church, 730 Oakdale Rd. Charlotte, NC 28216.
