Christopher David Finch

Monroe — Christopher David Finch, aged 53, passed away on January 19, 2024, in Monroe, North Carolina. Born on August 18,1970, in Auburn, New York, Christopher was known for his loving nature as a father, his keen wit, and his amiable spirit.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Jennifer Finch; his caring sister, Shannon Finch and her spouse Richelle Gerner; his beloved children, Nicholas Finch, and his spouse Casey Levin, and Remi Finch; his dear niece Brenna Baran and her spouse Kory Garafalo; and his former spouse, Joelle Copp. Christopher was predeceased by his father, David Finch. Christopher’s formative years were spent at Weedsport Elementary and Weedsport Jr. Sn. High School, after which he pursued higher education at SUNY Oswego. He served with distinction in the Marine Corps, embodying the values of honor and commitment.

Professionally, Christopher was a man of many talents. He found joy and purpose in his work as a freelance photographer, a Home Inspector for AmeriSpec, and contributed his skills to Morris Jenkins HVAC and most recently to Americas Home Place. His hobbies reflected a life lived with passion and enthusiasm. Christopher was an avid gun enthusiast, a talented photographer, a car aficionado, a boating enthusiast, a skilled golfer, and a dedicated Formula One fan.

Services to honor Christopher’s life will be held at Gaskin Funeral Home on January 23,

2024. The arrangements are being managed by Gaskin Funeral Services, located in Matthews, North Carolina 28104.

 Christopher’s memory will be forever cherished by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His absence will be deeply felt, and his legacy will continue to inspire.
