Claude Benton "Rex" Hosaflook Jr.

Claude Benton (Rex) Hosaflook, Jr.,90, of Charlotte, NC, died peacefully, February 14, 2017. Born in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, December 30, 1926, he was the son of Claude and Mollie Hosaflook. Rex was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Vivian Clark Hosaflook of Asheville, NC. He served in the US Navy on the USS Tangier AV-8, in 1945, in Hong Kong; graduated UNC-Chapel Hill, with a B.S. in Commerce, 1952; was a Certified Public Accountant, retiring in 1986 as Secretary/Treasurer of American & Efird Mills, Mt. Holly, NC. He is survived by his children, Ben Hosaflook and his wife, Janice, of Surfside Beach, SC, Rusty Hosaflook and his wife, Donna of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Evadale Hosaflook of Matthews, NC; his grandchildren, Troy Hosaflook of Charlotte, NC and Paige Hosaflook McCay and her husband, Shannon, of Indian Trail, NC; and great grandchild, Addie McCay. -
