Daphne K. Carter

Daphne Kennedy Carter, 82, of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, May 10, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Carter, Sr. She will be remembered as a very gracious, humble, and truly Christ-like individual. Very devoted to her family, she was fun-loving and those that knew her enjoyed their time together. Daphne and her late husband were charter members of Central Church of God, but most recently she was a member of Eastway Church of God where her son is pastor. Immediate family members include her children, James E. Carter, Jr., Rev. Dan A. Carter and his wife, Myra, and Kimberly C. Rick and her husband, Joe; six grandchildren, Christi Carter, Hope Southern(Matt), Danny A. Carter, Jr.(Ashley), Alley Rick, Cody Rick, and Carley Rick; two great grandchildren, Kyla and Eden Southern. -
