He was born July 27, 1953, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is survived by his father, Vernon Lankford; his mother, Betty Jean Powell Huffstetler, and her husband, Skip; his daughter, Codi Lee Lankford; sisters, Robin Tucker(David), Fairy Ragan, Rene Flock, Traci Biggers(Ronnie); step-sisters, Carol Farrar(Ronnie), and Joy Goforth(Danny). -
