David Samuel Whitlow

David Samuel Whitlow, 89, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty years, Irene Osborne Whitlow. Mr. Whitlow's immediate family includes his step daughter, Barbara A. Frye, and her husband, Joe, of Charlotte; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; four nieces and five nephews. In tribute to Mr. Whitlow, a memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 4622 Nations Crossing Rd., Charlotte, NC 28217. Pastor Earl Pennell will officiate. The family will gather following the service to greet friends. *In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Woodlawn Baptist Church. -
