Debbie Griffin Smith

Debbie Smith, 61, of Charlotte, went to her heavenly home following a lengthy illness Wednesday, November 17, 2010. She is the daughter of Lucille Parker Griffin and the late Frank Griffin. Debbie, a native of Charlotte, graduated from South Mecklenburg High School. She was manager of Charlotte Floral Delivery, but for health reasons she retired early. Debbie was also a former member of Ebenezer ARP Church. She loved people and was an encourager to many. Debbie loved her Lord Jesus Christ and though she struggled with much pain and difficulty, she found comfort in reading the Bible, praying, and listening to Christian music. Her immediate family, in addition to her mother, includes her son, Trey Smith; three grandchildren, Chris, Tyler, and Sarah Smith, all of Margate, FL; sisters, Gail Griffin of Greenville, SC, Sheila Griffin Gilbert (Randy) of Jacksonville, FL; her brother, Leonard Griffin (Annette) of Toccoa, GA.
