Deborah Jean Griffin

Deborah Jean Griffin, 60, of Matthews, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 5, 2017. Her immediate family includes her children, Timothy Kelly Kainer of Pikeville, KY, Brian Thomas Griffin(Aleisha) of Matthews, Taylor Ann Marie Griffin of Rockingham, NC, and Mary Elizabeth Griffin of Matthews; her step-sister, Donie Sims(Chip); three grandchildren, Brinna Kainer, Anthony Kainer,and Makayla Kainer; her nephew, Mack Stancil of Indian Trail; and her previous husband, Brian Griffin of Polkton, NC. Mrs. Griffin will be remembered not only for the 22 years she devoted providing child care, along with 8 years with Home Instead Senior Care, but her love for her children. She loved, and spent every opportunity telling others about the Lord. When time allowed, she liked to travel, going to the mountains and the beach. She lived a wonderful happy life and her memory will be cherished by all that knew her. -
