Delton Hunt

Delton Hunt, 74, of Mint Hill, NC passed away February 7, 2018. Delton was born May 9, 1943, in Lumberton, NC. He was the son of the late Luke and Callie Hunt. He is preceded in death by a sister and seven brothers. For approximately 32 years, he and his wife, Louise (Blondie), owned and operated their own floor covering instillation business. He took pride in his work and it was important that customer satisfaction always came first. In addition to his wife of 54 years, his immediate family includes his son, Jeff; daughter, Robin; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his brother, Tommy; his sister, Annie; and a host of relatives and friends. The family will gather for viewing and visitation from 2:00PM until 4:00PM Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Gaskin Funeral Service, 14617 West Lawyers Rd Matthews, NC 28104. The family has requested no floral offerings. Burial will be private. -
