Dixie Gaye Blythe

Dixie Gaye Quick Blythe, 90, of Monroe, North Carolina,went home to Heaven Saturday, December 3, 2011,while in the presence of her loving son at her bedside. A Union Memorial Hospital nurse for 33 years, she is survived by her son, Richard Quick, and his wife Dana; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. The family would like to express love and gratitude to the caregivers of the Jesse Helms Center who cared for "Momma Dixie" for nine years. We love you. Memorial may be made to the "Sonshine Club" of Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Rd. Monroe, NC 28110. -
