Dorothy Moon Church

Dorothy Moon Church arrived in heaven January 11, 2012 after celebrating her 90th birthday Sunday. She was born in Memphis, TN January 8, 1922 and moved to Charlotte in 1997. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lloyd Church and their two children, Tom Church and Trudy Griffin. Her retirement years were spent with the families of her grandchildren, Curt Whalen and Sharon Pena. She and Lloyd loved to travel and spent many happy times with Tom's family in CA - Peggy, Katie and Elizabeth. She touched many lives over the years as a teacher, volunteer and church leader.
