Edward Peter Tomkus, Jr., 62, of Matthews, passed away February 22, 2014. Born in Rockford, IL, he is the son of the late Edward P. Tomkus, Sr. and Phyllis Andrukatis Tomkus. Immediate family members include his wife, Julie; four children, Joseph Tomkus and his wife, Susan, Wendy Acevedo, Kristie Williams, and Michael Tomkus; three sisters, Marie Tomkus, Patty Prouty, Vicki Gordon; one brother, David Tomkus; five grandchildren. -
