Eleanor Branner Siskron

Eleanor Branner Siskron, 90, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21 2012. In celebration, we remember Eleanor's beautiful spirit and smile. Eleanor was born April 17, 1921 in Wilmington, NC, to the late Sanford and Lottie Wells Branner. She graduated from Harding High and retired from City Plumbing Co. where she worked with her late husband Harry. She was a member of the Plumbing Association and the Harding Alumni. After a massive heart attack, Eleanor attended CMC's Cardiac Rehab for 22 years until age 89, where she made faithful friends. She was a member of Central Church of God and dearly loved the Lord and her church friends. She is survived by daughter Kaye Siskron, granddaughter Nikki Dotson-Lorello, grandson Shawn Siskron, and great granddaughter Kaylen Siskron. Eleanor was preceded in death by husband Harry and her sons Steve and David. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to "Dogs Day of Charlotte" which uses 100% of donated funds to save lives of local dogs at high-kill shelters.
