Erwin "Erv" Schulz

Erwin (Erv) Schulz died on May 20th, 2011. He was the son of Harry and Henrietta Schulz. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, WI and attended Syracuse University in New York and Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Erv loved the Lord, his wife, Lu, and his family with all his heart. He was a selfless man whose wife, daughters, family and friends were of foremost importance in his life. He enjoyed a good joke and was known for telling what his friends called, "Erv's oft' told jokes." Erv's immediate family includes his wife, Lu Dorow Schulz, his precious daughters, Sandra Nagy (David) New Berlin, Wis., Sue Sutton (Jeffrey) and Sharie Moorhead (Scott), of Charlotte, NC. Erv was richly blessed with eight grandchildren. Each one is special in his/her own way and no one could have been a prouder Papa than Erv. In the order of their birth they are, Sarah Nagy Branski (Andrew), Cliff Sutton (Laura), Kim Sutton McClelland (Jessee), Nicholas Nagy (Pamela), Bryan Sutton (Mandy), Zachary Nagy, Meredith Moorhead and Margaret Moorhead. Bonus great grands are Haven and Colton Nagy (Nick and Pam), Timothy Sutton (Cliff and Laura), and Eli Sutton (Bryan and Mandy). He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Joy Heath of New Smyrna Beach, Fl. and sister, Norma Bachay of Milwaukee, Wi. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Erv's name to Matthews United Methodist Church, Daily Bread Ministry ( please refer to "Place A Donation" in column left of this obituary). Erv and Lu's prayer (Read on July 16, 2010 at their 61st wedding anniversary) Thank you, Dear God, for our 61 years together and for your abundant blessings. We thank you especially for our most enduring blessing: Our daughters Sandra, Sue and Sharie who are and always have been the joy of our lives. Thank you for the miracle of our growing family and the pride each new and dear family member has brought us. Our cup runneth over with joy. Thank you God for the blessing of friendship. Loving, supportive friends become extended family - a very precious blessing. For these and all Thy blessings may the Lord's Holy Name be praised and blessed. AMEN
