Florence Johnson Halliday

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Florence Johnson Halliday, 94, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2021. Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl "Chuck" of 61 years.  She was a member of Blair Road United Methodist Church of Mint Hill, NC for over 40 years. Florence enjoyed gardening, and to sew and cross stitch.  She loved birds and even had an African Grey Parrot.  Florence had wild pet turtles for over 30 years, they lived in her backyard and she would feed them daily.  She loved vacationing, her favorite vacation would be going on cruises with her late husband, Chuck.  Florence will be truly missed by her family and friends. Florence is survived by her daughter, Leslie Coore (Jesse); her grandchildren, Andrew Coore, Cody Coore and Kaitlyn McCarthy and two great grandchildren; Mason and Tolby . She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck and her sister Shirley.
