Gary Lee Dohrman

Gary Lee Dohrman Gary Dohrman, 69, of Monroe, went to glory to receive his just reward from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, April 13, 2010. Gary graduated from Piedmont Bible College and continued in Christian ministry throughout his life. He is preceded in death by the wife of his youth, Barbara Dohrman and his mother, Mary Dohrman. Gary's immediate family includes his wife, Shirley Dohrman; daughters, Allison Dohrman, Rebecca Dohrman and Melanie Dohrman Green; Son-in-law, Erik Mauk; stepchildren, Nicholas and wife Samantha Helms and Beth and husband Alex Helms; ten grandchildren; his father, Lee Dohrman; his sister, Karen, and her husband Robert Lambertus. A service in celebration of Gary's life will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Hermon Baptist Church, 9713 Lancaster Hwy (Hwy 200), Waxhaw, NC 28173. The family will gather following the service to greet friends. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Hermon Baptist Church Building Fund, and/or Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center, Heme Malignancy Program, Memory of Gary Dohrman, c/o Julia Hoyle, Box 3961, Duke North Pavilion, 2400 Pratt Street, Durham, NC 27710.
