Helen Lura Hunter-McKegney

Helen Lura Hunter McKegney, 55 of Waxhaw NC passed away on June 10, 2020.  The gift of a beautiful bright light has been given to us all through the life of a Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, and Wife. Her life was one filled with caring for family and friends with so much love. She is survived by Father, Thomas R.Hunter, Three precious children, Cameron Lura Mckegney, Ceara Savannah Mckegney, and John Daniel Hunter McKegney. She has a sister Lesa Hunter Elder, and brother Thomas R. Hunter Jr. Other family include Matt Mckegney. 
There are no words to say the loss and grief that so many who loved her are feeling. Love is an eternal gift that we carry in our hearts. She left so unexpectedly and we all have lost a bit of our hearts, but in living , she remains in all of those who were so blessed to be in her life and know the joy filled person she was. We thank God for her "Welcome Home" to the Place He prepared for her. A place of rest and peace and to truly be home in the arms of Jesus.
