Rose Moore

November 24, 1929 — February 1, 2025

Iris Rose Moore 95 passed peacefully February 1, 2025 and is with her Lord and Savior.

Rose was born in Hamlet, NC  She is the daughter of the late Lonnie Alexander and Willie Murphy McIntyre.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charles David Moore, by her grandson Cory Moore and her daughter-in-law Terry Moore.

Rose is survived by her loving children Glenn Moore, daughter-in-law  Rhonda Moore, Keith Moore, daughter-in-law Nancy Moore, Debbie Denny, son-in-law Tim Denny, Bruce Moore, daughter-in-law Denise Moore as well as one brother Albert Black. She is also loved by 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  

Rose graduated from Harding High School in 1948.   She enjoyed cooking, shopping and family gatherings.  She retired from Signode Paslode after 24 years.  She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.

David and Rose were married 73 years.  She was a very loving and caring mom but best known as Maw Maw.  She adored her family.  She had a smile that would light up the room.  She will be greatly missed by all those that deeply loved her.  Her life was a testimony to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  

There will be a graveside memorial service Wednesday, February 5 at 1:30 at Forest Lawn East 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Weddington NC
