James Roger Firkins, 68, of Dallas, North Carolina, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 12, 2019.
He was born on December 9, 1950, in Edmonton, Kentucky
"Jim" was a veteran of the USMC and a loving husband and father.
He Is survived by his wife Barbara of 47 years; two sons, James of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Joshua of Greenville, South Carolina; and his daughter,. Rhonda Ward of Arkansas. Jim had three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Jim attended Bethel Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he taught Sunday school for 30 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday May 19, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church. 4801 Tuckaseegee Rd. Charlotte NC 28208.
