Jamie Brianna Burger, 22, of Roanoke, Virginia, however formerly of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Jamie's life began in Littleton, Colorado, where she lived for 8 years and enjoyed camping, hiking, biking and skiing. She moved to Charlotte in 4th grade and had a passion for soccer and working with children at Carmel Baptist Church and the YMCA. Jamie loved playing games and cards with family and friends. Jamie graduated from USC as an enthusiastic "drank the Kool-Aid" Gamecock with honors in academics, leadership and service. Jamie most recently attended P.A. School in Roanoke, Virginia. Jamie lived her life to the fullest. She had an captivating smile, a contagious laugh and a zeal for life. Jamie was creative, intelligent, hard-working, focused and a "bit" competitive at everything. She never met a stranger; because to Jamie, every stranger was a friend she had not yet met. Jamie will be deeply missed by family, friends and all that knew her. Her immediate family includes her parents, Rick and Cathy Burger; her sister, Jessie Pugh, and brother, Keith Smith; her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Norma Burger, and maternal grandparents, Jim and Pat Godfrey.
