Jim Howell

James D. "Jim" Howell, a well known attorney in the Charlotte area, and resident of Matthews, passed away suddenly, early Monday morning, December 10, 2012. A devoted husband, kind, generous and loving individual that never met a stranger, will be deeply missed by all who came to know this true southern gentleman. Jim's immediate family includes his wife, Debbie Howell of Matthews; two daughters, Joy Howell Harrington of Marshville, and Linda Howell Woodall of Hillsboro, NC; his son, James Perry Howell of Iowa City, Iowa; two step-sons, Kelly Gerard Samuel of Matthews, and Kevin Eugene Samuel of Charlotte; two brothers, Henry Howell and Bill Howell; and his sister, Sara Edwards; four grandchildren, Handley Woodall, Emma Grace Howell, Maisie Louise Howell, Liam Michael Samuel.
