Kathy Brulinda McNeill

Kathy Brulinda McNeill (Johnson) entered this world on July 14, 1954, to the late Erma Zell and Theodore Franklin Johnson Sr. of Union County, North Carolina. Kathy worked in the food service industry most of her life. She enjoyed interacting with the public, Kathy had a friendly and helpful disposition.  Many of her patrons looked forward to being greeted by her, especially in the mornings. Kathy grew up in the Apostolic faith, and it continued to be a big part of her life. During times of uncertainty and joy, Kathy would hold fast to God. She was a member of the Queen City Apostolic Church for over 25 years. She enjoyed singing, and would often be caught humming one of her favorite gospel songs.    

When you could not find Kathy at work, or at her church, she filled her time with her two grandchildren. Kathy enjoyed life, loved her family, and will be missed by many since she departed this world on January 22, 2021.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughter, Sharon L. McNeill; daughter and son-in law, Charlene R. and Steven Beeson; son, Christopher J. McNeill; two grandchildren, Alex  and Jonathan McNeill; brothers Theodore Franklin Johnson Jr., Joe Johnson, and George Johnson; sisters Debbie Teague and Karen Simpson.
