Katie Nicole Wingate

Kaitlyn (Katie) Nicole Wingate, 17, of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away March 25, 2012. Born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, she will be remembered by her many friends at North Mecklenburg High School and South Iredell High School. Her immediate family includes her parents, Mark W. Wingate and Lynn R. Wingate; her maternal grandmother, Nancy B. Roos; her paternal grandfather, Harry H. Wingate, Jr.; her sisters, Heather Ferguson and Megan Wingate; and her two nieces, Kylie Edmond and Teagan Stuller. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte in memory of Katie.
