Keaton A. "Keith" Rogers

Keaton A. Rogers also known as "Pop," and/or "Keat" went home to be with the Lord April 17, 2014 (Holy Thursday). He is preceded in death by his mother and father (Georgia Mae and Wilbert), his brother Lawrence, his wife (Kathy) and nephew Andrew. He is survived by his children Marie, Michelle, Leah, Katrina, Kesha, Keith, Porsha, and Jayvoni, his two surviving siblings Patricia and Carol, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a nephew, 4 nieces, and a host of cousins, aunts, friends, and acquaintances. Keaton was a lively spirit who will be sorely missed. He made friends wherever he went, and he made sure that people couldn't or wouldn't forget him. He loved to engage in banter over sports and politics, remaining a fan of the NY based basketball and football teams, and our current president Barack Obama. Keaton loved dancing and listening to music, and made his best effort not to miss a party. Keaton lived most of his life in NYC, but returned home to his mother's birthplace over three years ago. He also returned to give his life over to The Lord and to become a member of his family's church Little Rock, a church that his mother and ancestors attended, and which he regularly attended. -
