Larry Corbin Ash

Larry Corbin Ash, 81, of Matthews, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, March 6, 2016. Larry was born October 25, 1934 in Atlanta, Georgia, and was the son of the late John Wesley Ash and Fannett Daniel Ash. He was member of the First Baptist Church of Matthews and the Abundant Life Sunday School Class. Larry had served in the U.S. Army and the Air National Guard. His favorite hobbies included golf and camping. Larry's immediate family includes his wife of 59 years, Nita Martin Ash; daughter Merinda Ash Charles and her husband, Jay; grandchildren, Ashley and Alex Hilliard, and Michelle and Glenn Meachum; five great grandchildren, Kayleigh Meachum, Taylor Hilliard, Shannon Meachum, Nate Hilliard, and Mason Hilliard.
