Lauraine Clara Shaffer, 70, of Mint Hill, NC, went to be with the Lord early Friday morning, April 21, 2017. Mrs. Shaffer was born April 5, 1947, in Mecklenburg County, NC, and was the daughter of the late Chester Arthur Sharpe and Minnie Mullis Sharpe. Her immediate family includes her husband, Bill Shaffer; two children,Lori Shaffer and Norma Jean Portas and her husband, Kevin, and their two children Seth and Krista Portas; her two brothers, Ray Wilson and Chester Authur Sharpe, Jr. Additional biographical information will be forthcoming... -
