Lloyd Alfred Kanipe Jr.

Lloyd Alfred Kanipe, Jr. passed away August 14, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd A. Kanipe, Sr. and Helen Faires Kanipe; along with his brother, Wayne Kanipe. Lloyd, a native of Charlotte, graduated from West Mecklenburg High School in 1965. Pursuing a football scholarship, he played for Elon College where he graduated with a teaching degree. His immediate family includes two daughters, their husbands, and two granddaughters and three grandsons. -
