Louise Reeves Sadler

Louise Reeves Sadler was born in Wilkes- Barre, PA. on May 4th, 1933 to Edwin DeForest Clark and Margaret Davis Clark. She passed away after a short illness on August 13, 2022 in Charlotte, NC at the age of 89.Louise was predeceased by her husband Benjamin Reville, daughter Mary Margaret Reville, brother Walter Clark, parents Edwin and Margaret Clark, husband Joseph Sadler stepson Danny Sadler.

Louise had three Siblings : Margaret Davis Jones, Walter DeForest Clark, Mary Everett Tyler. She had six children, Katherine Reville Call, Michael Reville (Rebecca), Mary Margaret Reville, Steven Reville( (Miracle), Elizabeth Reville (John Blackwelder.) Nathan Sadler. She had five step children Robert Sadler (Sally), Mary Lynn Sadler( Bill Lindler), Nancy Sadler (Michael Yaffe), Ted Sadler (Denise), Danny Sadler.

Louise and Joe Sadler were active at Resurrection Church where they were Married in Charlotte, NC. Louise was a Kindergarten teacher in the Preschool at Resurrection Church. She also worked with the after school program for Vietnamese children for several years. She loved to sing with them and accompany the children on her Ukulele and enjoyed cooking a Vietnamese supper for them as well as teaching the Bible.

Louise never knew a stranger and was always thinking of others, She loved her children and she loved her many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love for her family and others was endless. She also loved the Lord and served Him every day.

In her last years, she was a resident at Sharon Village in Charlotte, NC. She came in with several special friends. They earned the nickname of "The Posse". They were Louise, Elizabeth Mac Martin, Sarah Woodward, Anita White, Mary Calder, Carol Smith. During the Pandemic, they put on their masks and played dominoes or scrabble (which she was very competitive in) every week. Louise had other friends whom she enjoyed excursions with that Sharon Village provided. She led a full life to the end

Louise will be so missed. She was a bright light to all who knew her. She has met her Savior and will shine forever in His Glory. Many thanks to the Sharon Village staff who made her life easier in the last years. Also, many thanks to her Daughter Beth Blackwelder and husband John, her son Steve Reville and wife Miracle, son Michael Reville and wife Rebecca who ministered to her in her last hours at Sharon Village and the hospital.

There will be a Celebration of her Life in January at Resurrection
Church in Charlotte led by Pastor Billy Miller.
