Lynda Sharon Outen

Lynda Sharon Outen, 62 of Indian Trail, NC passed away on October 27, 2019. She was with her loving daughters, Sharon Outen and Rachel Batten(Shane).  Lynda was originally born in Chattahoochee County, GA but was basically raised in Baumholder, Germany as her father, Carl Newton Prosser was a military man who was stationed there.  So in a natural sense, she loved all things German.  Lynda is remembered by her family as the fun loving mother.  She had regularly held game nights with her girls, playing games like Scattergories, Pictionary and Scrabble.  Lynda was also known to have puzzles lying around and when she wasn’t playing games, she loved to read.  Close family would refer to her as, the Dog Whisper. Lynda loved all animals, but particularly dogs and those animals loved her right back.

Lynda leaves behind many who loved her and she will be greatly missed.  Her grandchildren, Emma Balzer, Asher and Carlyn Batten, Two sisters Carla Bradford(Dan), and Patricia Knight(Rick). 

A time to greet the family will be held on, November 1, 2019 at Gaskin Funeral Services from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
