Malcolm Heath Cranford

Malcolm Heath Cranford, 85, of Charlotte, died September 13, 2011. A native Charlottean, Heath was the son of William Pleasant and Eula Mullinix Cranford. Heath was preceded in death by brothers Robert Dermont Cranford, William P. Cranford, Jr. and Worth B. Cranford. Heath is survived by his wife, Cleo Cranford, of Charlotte; sister, Dorothy Cole, of Denton, NC; brother, Seth Cranford, of Fort Mill, SC; sister-in-law, Margaret Cranford, of Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews. A veteran of WWII, Heath served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. He enjoyed a career in the automotive industry in various capacities, most enjoyable of which were his years as a salesman. A sports enthusiast, Health enjoyed golf with numerous golfing buddies and good friends. His sharp wit and creative descriptions will be missed by those who appreciated is humor.
