Margaret Mary Seeds

Margaret Mary Seeds "Marge", 92, of Charlotte, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 13, 2012, at home. She was born December 5, 1919, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, to George and Frances Kendrick and graduated from Clearfield High School. Her first husband, Jerry McFarland, precedes her in death. He passed away in 1987, following 42 years of marriage. Marge's immediate family includes her husband, Richard Seeds; son David McFarland(Donna); daughter Maureen McFarland; grandchildren, Scott mcFarland(Susan), Heather Takacs(Chris), Erin Emerson(Charles), and Matthew Stanley; great grandchildren, Dana McFarland, Ivan and Scarlett Takacs; step children, Rick Seeds, Gayla Seeds, and Marla McGhee. Marge was very active and loved to spend time with family and friends. She was quite a talented artist and was always ready to try something new and interesting. She was the kind of person we should all aspire to be. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Presbyterian Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 33549, Charlotte, NC 28233. - -
