Margaret Redding Crump

Margaret Crump, 86, of Fort Mill, but formerly of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday evening, June 16, 2010. Mrs. Crump, a native of Charlotte, was the daughter of the late Curtis Adair Redding and Faye Honeycutt Redding. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Coleman C. Crump and her son-in-law, Wiley Mingia. Her immediate family includes her children, Janice Mingia of Garner, NC and Alan Crump and his wife, Patsy, of Fort Mill; three sisters, Doris Norris and her husband, Amos, of Statesville, NC, Shirley Huntley of Charlottesville, VA, and Betty Gwaltney and her husband, Roy, of Deltona, FL; three grandchildren, Benjamin Crump, Melanie Hardman, and Brian Mingia; several nieces and nephews. The family will gather at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 19, 2010, in the sanctuary of Tega Cay Baptist Church, 1875 Gold Hill Rd. Fort Mill, SC, 29708, to greet friends. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it was Mrs. Crump's request that donations be made to the Tega Cay Baptist Church Building Fund.
