Mark E. Dukes

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Mark E. Dukes, 61, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Gaskin Funeral Services, 14617 Lawyers Road, Matthews, NC. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THOSE WISHING TO ATTEND THE SERVICES.

DUE TO RESULTS FROM INCLIMATE WEATHER, INTERMENT PORTION OF SERVICES WILL BE RESCHEDULED.

Mark was born July 1, 1960 in Lafayette, Indiana and was the son of the late Everett and Patricia Dukes Bailey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Rose Dukes. Mark was a graduate of Independence High School and a United States Air Force Veteran.

Mark is survived by his wife, Mindy; son, Chris Dukes and wife, Jackie of Wingate; step-daughter, Bridget Benton and husband, Chris of Monroe; sister, Michelle Dukes of Charlotte; step-brother, Eldon Nelson and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Sammy Dukes and Kaylee Dukes; and step-grandchildren, Kail Benton, Noah Benton and Addison Benton.
