Martha Mae Huffman

Martha Mae Huffman, of Charlotte, NC passed away on March 1, 2012, at the age of 65. She was born on May 22, 1946 to the late Henry Richard Washington and Aileen Huffman. A Hickory, NC native, she graduated from St. Stephens High School and studied at the University of Maryland, College Park. Martha worked at Winn Dixie, Digital, Discovery Place, Hezekiah Alexander House, and retired from Edward Jones Investments as a BOA. Martha was an avid photographer & writer whose work evidenced the things the loved most about Gods creation. She enjoyed People and Fishing most but also spent a lot of her time studying History, Architecture, Music, Travel, talking about fishing, thinking about Fishing, reading about Fishing, writing about Fishing, dreaming about Fishing, and of course Fishing. In addition to her parents Martha was preceded in death by her sister Betty Huffman Eibling Martha is survived by her brother Deames R. Huffman and wife Doris of Matthews, NC, sister Gloria Huffman Wessel of Columbus, Maryland, brother Timothy Huffman and wife Linda of Hickory, NC. Martha is also survived by nine nephews and nieces: Nephew Dale Huffman and wife Amanda of Indian Trail, NC; Denise Huffman Styles and husband Billy of Waxhaw, NC; Andrew Wessel and wife Laura of Millsboro, DE; William Wessel of, Boston, Mass; Sarah Wessel and husband Jorge Rivas of Washington, DC ; Russell Eibling and wife Mary of Aiken, SC; Michael Eibling and wife Shelly of Evans, Colorado, Frederick Eibling and wife Renee of Bel Air, Md; Mark Huffman and wife Mirkala of Miami, FL. The family would like give special thanks to Martha's very special friends and all those who loved and helped care for her when she was in need.
