Mercedes Showler, 91, of Monroe, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord and savior, November 21, 2013. She as born September 24, 1922, in Gunajuato, Mexico, and was the daughter of Jose' Santa Maria and Catalina Gomez. Her immediate family includes her children, Linda G Munoz, Stephen B. Showler, Victoria Louise Showler, and Philip A. Showler; her brother, Louis Santa Maria; her sister, Katie Smith; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. -
