Nancy Pechal Lineberger

Nancy Pechal Lineberger began her next adventure with the Lord on Sunday March 16, 2025. Nancy was born on January 3, 1956 in Passaic, New Jersey. She was the second of four children to Frank and Katherine Pechal of Clifton, NJ. Nancy spent a large part of her childhood playing with cousins, skiing and spending time with her grandparents Dr. Donald and Katherine Davison. Nancy moved to Cary, NC when she was 14 years old. In Cary, Nancy made many lifelong friendships and met her husband Henry Vernon Lineberger III while attending Cary High School. After graduating from Garner-Webb College, Nancy worked as a nurse for 30 years. Nancy and Vern were married in 1975. Nancy was an avid reader, gardener and animal lover who believed in lifelong education. Nancy received a second degree from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Nancy and Vern had four children, Ryan, Zachary, Todd and Anna. Nancy was an energetic, spontaneous and devoted mother. Nancy loved spoiling her six grandchildren. Nancy's death was preceded by her son, Zachary Vernon Lineberger in 2014. Nancy is survived by her husband, son, two daughters and grandchildren. Vern Lineberger, Todd Elliot Lineberger and Anna Catherine Lineberger reside in Charlotte, NC. Ryan Elizabeth Love resides in Durham, NC. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew her and is remembered for her warm heart, sense of humor and carefree spirit. In lieu flowers, donations can be sent to the SPCA of Charlotte. A service will be held at Carmel Baptist Church on Monday, March 24 at 2pm.
