Ola Curlee Williams, 94, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at her daughter's home in Monroe. Mrs. Williams was born December 4, 1916, to the late James F. and Betty Howard Curlee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Milton Carl Williams, Sr., and oldest son, Milton Carl Williams, Jr. and one grandchild. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Williams was a long-time member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church in the Burnsville Community of Anson County. A celebration of life service will be Friday, November 25, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe, NC, 28110. Ola had attended Love Church for the past 3 ½ years with her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Don Thompson. Burial for Mrs. Williams will follow her service at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery in Anson County. The family will receive friends before her service on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Love Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Ann Thompson, and husband, Don, of Monroe: three sons, James T. Williams, and wife, Jenny, of Polkton, John Williams, and wife, Betty, of Charlotte, and Steve Williams, and wife, Vivian, of Polkton; daughter-in-law, Caroline Williams, of Wendell, NC; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren Memorials may be made to Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Tim Helms, 3964 Rocky Mount Baptist Church Rd., Polkton, NC 28135. -
