Patricia R. Beach

June 7, 1950 — October 31, 2012

Patricia Pauline Beach, 62, known to many of as Patty left us to be with her Heavenly Father October 31, 2012 at 2:45 AM. Patty was born in Ashland, KY, June 7, 1950. She was raised in Fairborn, OH by her Mother Doris Kline and shared a very close relationship with her older sister Delores Duvall. Patty and her sister were known for being adventurous when they were young school girls. One memorable moment was of them slipping out into town to explore the sights while Mom was washing clothes. It was only a matter of time before Doris realized the girls had been gone so she set out to look for the two with switch in hand. And yes they had their legs switched the rest of the way home. The family was close knit and Doris raised them both to have self-respect, respect for others, to be polite, obedient and listen to elders. Both as teenage girls they were baptized in the Mad River in Fairborn Ohio by Rev. Randall Hutchinson. Funny side note to this story, a prankster shouted they saw a snake in the lake after the ceremony and that cleared the lake pretty quick. As a young lady Patty enjoyed being in talent shows and plays at Central Jr. High and Fairborn High School. She also had a beautiful voice and did very well in the school choir and with carolers. She had the voice of an angel. Loved to sing at church and people loved to hear her sing. Patty married her first and only love of her life Raymond Larry Beach at the age of 18. The loving marriage continued till Larry's passing in 2006. They were married 40 years. The marriage produced 3 surviving sons, Ty Beach 43, Tim Beach 37,and his wife Krystal Balmer Beach 30, Todd Beach 33, and 2 grandchildren, Ashlyn and Kalie. Patty worked at Huntsville Hospital for many years as a phlebotomist. Later she also ran her own in-home business, which was a daycare. Once she moved to Charlotte, NC, she became a CMS school bus driver. She was employed with CMS for 17 years. Patty loved the children and parents always felt their children were safe with her. Patty's family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She made the holidays and birthdays a very special occasion. Her spirit, strength, devotion to God and family will be her legacy for generations to come. Patty was a prayer warrior, always praying for the needs of others. Patty had a great love for animals and her pets. Fond of poodles she had several in her lifetime. Her last two Mickey and Molly brought her much joy and happiness as did her colorful beta fish she named Bubba. Patty loved animals so much that when she would see a wounded animal, she would pray for that animal and asked the Lord if that animal could be part of her Heavenly Family. Patty was diagnosed with Onset Alzheimers/Dementia in 2010. Seeing how there is not a present cure she participated in a research program to help find a cure for future generations. Patty never forgot where she came from and was always connected to her extended family in OH, FL and TN. She will be missed dearly by her aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and "friends for life", Mary Moorcroft and Kay Thompson. -
