His immediate family includes his wife, Evelyn Bowden, of Charlotte; four children, Robin Boseman and her husband, Bishop Jeremiah Boseman, of Charlotte, Robert Lee Bowden, Jr. and his wife, Annette, of Charlotte, Ervin Bowden of Charlotte, Melana Walker, of Charlotte; two step-daughters, Traci Bradshaw of Plainfield, New York and Lori Davis of Charlotte; one step-son, Anthony Harris, and his wife, Nikki, of High Point; his brother, Woodrow Bowden and his wife, Savannah, of Charlotte; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. - -
